Madhusudan Sharma, is an Insolvency Professional, Advocate, Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA), and Company Secretary (FCS), with over 35 years’ of diversified work and consulting experience with public, private and co-operative sectors and consulting companies.

He has worked with National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (AMUL). As a consultant, he was been associated with a number of large national and international consulting companies like–ICF Consulting Services Ltd., GHK Consulting Ltd., Wilbur Smith Associates Inc, URS Scott Wilson, Louis Berger Group Inc, Agrifor Consult, Rudeco GmbH, IPE Global Ltd.

He has been an adviser in several urban infrastructure development and reforms projects funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank (WB) and other bilateral agencies. He was a member of ADB’s Technical Assistance team for the Ministry of Housing and Poverty Alleviation for preparing “National Affordable Housing Development Policy Framework” and DFID’s team for Ministry of Urban Development for ‘Smart City’ and ‘AMRUT’ programmes.

He had been Visiting Faculty for the Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES), Lucknow (set up by Govt. of India),  All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) School of Built Environment, Amity University. Guest Speaker on IBC and GST in a number of seminars. He was a Governing Body Member of Satyawati College, Delhi University  and Secretary of MRTPC Bar Association, New Delhi.

Major areas of experience include – Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Municipal Laws, Taxation, Public Private Partnership (PPP), Urban and Municipal Finance, e-governance and financial reforms, Urban and Municipal Finance, due diligence and financial assessment of urban infrastructure projects, cost accounting, financial accounting, budgeting, and internal controls.
